Arbor Mounting Systems
About Aussie Augers and Arbor Surface Mounts
Say goodbye to the shovel and wheelbarrow! Our line of Vinyl Arbors can easily be installed using either Aussie Augers or Arbor Surface Mounts, depending upon your mounting specifications. These mounting systems offer faster and cleaner ways to install arbors, without the need for concrete, and require only a cordless drill, level, and tape measure to install. Some of our arbors come with mounting systems, but for those that do not, here are the instructions for both Aussie Augers and Arbor Surface Mounts, for a glimpse of just how easy vinyl arbor installation can be.
Aussie Auger Vinyl Arbor Installation - for in-ground arbor mounting on permeable surfaces:
1- Mark the footprint of your Vinyl Arbor and place it aside
2- Be sure your augers will be positioned square to each other
3- Keep your augers level as you screw them into the ground with the included turning rod
(pre-loosen soil a bit with water if extremely dry)
4- Drop black plastic sleeves over the installed augers
5- Lock the sleeves to the augers by inserting the protective tip caps/bolts through openings in the plastic sleeves
6- Assemble Vinyl Arbor separately and slide installed arbor side panels atop the plastic sleeves
7- Secure arbor to the plastic sleeve by guiding fastening screw through the base molding
Arbor Surface Mount Arbor Installation - for above ground arbor mounting on solid surfaces:
